The 2014 Ford F-150 will come with minimal changes compared to its predecessor, and it will be offered in several versions. It will also be offered with several trim levels from the workers’ truck to luxury versions, and is likely to include a V-8-powered off-road sport version, the SVT Raptor. Much larger changes are expected for 2015 Ford F-150 that will be getting bigger redesign.
As we used to have of this model, so will the 2014 Ford F-150 come available with a number of accessories, function and comfort. Additional features will likely include Ford’s Sync voice-activated multimedia control system and the touchscreen-based MyFord Touch infotainment array with the subscription-based Sirius Travel Link system that delivers current weather and traffic information, sports scores, movie listings and even local gasoline prices.
The 2014 Ford F-150 will still have in offer V-6 and V-8 engines that will likely include a 3.7-liter V-6 with 302 horsepower, the 5.0-liter 360-horsepower V-8, and the top 6.2 -liter V-8 with 411 horsepower and a strong 434 pound-feet of torque. The 2014 F-150 version of Ford’s 3.5-liter Ecoboost turbocharged V-6 will probably remain in the lineup and net a V-8-like 365 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. All of these engines will be paired with the six-speed automatic transmission.
New 2014 Ford F-150 should be found in showrooms in early September this year. The price of this model should range from a $ 25,000 for the base S rear-drive regular cab model to a base price at about $ 54.500 for a top-of-the-line four-wheel-drive Limited SuperCrew.
